I know the feeling
A storm continues to rage,
Leaving nothing but destruction in it's wake.
I can feel it's anger and thirst for vengeance,
I know how it feels.
And as I watch it continue it's wrath,
I see the mirror in front of me.
I know the feeling when all you hear,
Are raised voices yelling at each other.
They echo through your mind,
Making you wonder,
I know the feeling when you lose hope,
Wondering, "Why am I even here?"
You then hold the knife up to your skin,
But throw it to the side,
Too scared to use it.
I know the feeling when all you can do is go to your friends,
Crying at their doorstep.
They would hug you and ask what's wrong,
But you could not reply.
I know the feeling of loss,
When you loose something that was close to you.
All you could do was shut yourself in your room,
For your parents didn't care.
I know the feeling of joy,
Although sometimes short lived.
I know the feeling of fear,
All you do is worry.
When you go to your parents,
They just shove a pill
